On this tour you will pass three of the approximately 40 alpine huts in the Grossarltal. At each of the three alpine huts you can treat yourself to homemade delicacies and enjoy a unique view.
The motto is very clear: first the "work", then the pleasure. Although - to be honest - even the long ascent is actually pure pleasure. Because with every meter you drive you immerse yourself deeper in the beautiful mountain world and the higher you get, the better the view. So it's worth stopping every now and then and enjoying the view of the valley.
After you have shown your stamina for around five kilometers, you will be rewarded three times: first you reach the Mooslehenalm. A little later the Viehhausalm and Niggeltalalm (Igltalalm) follow. Homemade delicacies from the region await you in all three huts and it is almost impossible to make a recommendation. The best thing to do is to simply visit all three huts one after the other. And if your stomach is full afterwards and feels a little heavy, that's no problem: Because the way back is only downhill.
