You are hiking on billion-year-old anorthosite rock, the same material that makes up the bright mountains of the Moon. The most fascinating feature of this tour is the "Gamle kjerreveien", the old cart track. Hard to imagine, but through this today so peaceful and narrow rock crevice, the official main road of the region wound its way until shortly after the Second World War.
