June 19, 2025, Oberbergisches Land - Radrunde durch die "Golddörfer"

Many villages in the Bergisches Land region have participated in the "Our Village Has a Future" competition in recent years. Today, we cycled through four villages that received gold awards. We really enjoyed the scenery on the tour. It was varied, with numerous great views and opportunities for refreshments. Really wonderful tour. Almost all small paths and streets only 3km along a main road. Super!!

on this high-altitude route, which was also partly a half-timbered route, the e-bike was really challenged and in parts it went up steeply and with good braking also quickly down (sometimes at 45 to 50 km/h), but always on good and mostly very low-traffic smaller streets. This tour is highly recommended for those who dare and where the battery and the bike are in good shape. At km 9 it is recommended to take a break at the Gerlach country butcher shop in Winterborn and treat yourself to a fantastic range of meat and sausages. Attention: note the opening times.
