The Alpirsbacher Trail is a real gem for all mountain bikers in the Black Forest. Technically skilled riders can really let off steam on the enduro route, but beginners also feel at home here. They can improve their technique and simply avoid obstacles that are too difficult for them. The trail was built by the Bikesport Sasbachwalden association and it is not for nothing that it enjoys a reputation beyond the region's borders. Here you will get your money's worth with at least 140 millimeters of suspension travel.
But first you have to earn the descent: you pedal almost five kilometers and 330 meters in altitude up to the start of the trails. Then it really gets going on the so-called "Path Two". Fast berms, tables and jumps alternate at a high frequency. Good riding technique is rewarded with plenty of airtime. But beginners can also cope here, because the speed determines the difficulty and all obstacles can be easily rolled over.
After a short connecting section, the actual Alpirsbach Black Forest Trail awaits - at four kilometers long, it is one of the longest built mountain bike trails in Germany. Lots of waves, drops, flow sections and of course jumps ensure that you want to ride the trail again and again.
After a long and exciting day on the trails, we recommend stopping off at the Spinnerhof. Here you will be served an extra large piece of Black Forest gateau, for example.

I'm not entirely sure which one starts and ends where.
But it is clear that there are some pretty challenging sections.
After the heavy rain yesterday, some of the trails were muddy and the stones/roots were wet. That made the …
