On the second day of our autumn hiking weekend, my sister, my two teenagers and I were hiking on the high-altitude premium trail "hochgehfestigt" in the Swabian Alb biosphere area. The weather was very autumnal, as it should be for a 3rd October. The first highlight of the hike is the Höhenburg Hohenneuffen, one of the largest castle ruins in southern Germany. We continue on the leisurely Philosophenweg through wonderfully colorful orchards and vineyards around Beuren. Hello Hello, Today I had the "Hochgehfestigt" round of the HOCHGEHBERGE 😉. Since I couldn't find a parking space either at the open-air museum or at the Panorama-Therme 🙊, I parked in a side street in Beuren. Thanks to the GPS device, I quickly found the start of the tour - and what can I say? - a beautiful round came out of it 😀😀😀.
Day hike 2021 ✅ Sunrise hike 2022 ✅ The sunset was still missing 🤗. So nice to have done this super beautiful tour with you @Prisca ♥️ ❣️
On the way back there were surprisingly many beautiful spots and numerous photo opportunities.
It's a steep climb up to Hohenneuffen. Then it's more relaxed.
Steep climb at the beginning and then leisurely downhill through forests, over meadows and through the middle of the Beuren vineyards - Very nice🤩 Often ways "off the beaten path" 👍
