LT 6 hiking loop: Wasser.Wein.Weite (Water.Wine.Vastness) – day hikes in the Tauber Valley

As a starting point I chose the place between the church and the castle (Schlossplatz) and ran the route against the navigation direction. So you have the "boring" piece at the beginning and the "expanse" opens up before you when you come out of the forest into the vineyards. Halfway along the route there are several opportunities to take a break and enjoy the view. The most beautiful part of the route comes at the end of the tour and there is the opportunity to stop off at Külsheim's gastronomy The signs no longer match the navigation

Today the weather forecast used and the circular hike according to Mainpost v. 11/06/21 "Hiking between half-timbered houses, forest and vineyards" implemented. During our fog ride towards Taubertal, we could only hope that the sun would come through at some point. (A shopping spree at Rofa in Werbach bridged the gap for us 😉😀.) Delayed - without a big city tour in Külsheim - we enjoyed the very well signposted, varied round.

We are on the way back from Stuttgart to Cuxland. We stopped off for a hike today in Tauberfranken. The lovely Taubertal (LT) is advertised here. We largely followed the path marked LT6 on our tour. First, it leads out of the fountain town of Külsheim and up to barren heights. As the route continues, the landscape becomes increasingly varied. At the Hoher Herrgott you have a wonderful panoramic view. This is where the pale winter sun came out. Other highlights of the tour were the dinosaur tracks immortalized in stone and the wonderful nature trail along the Amorbach.
