If you are curious and want to get a taste of mountain bike air, then this tour is perfect for you to get started with. Or if you just want to treat yourself to a relaxed round through the beautiful, varied landscape, this round is ideal.
Starting from Lofer, you first drive to Sankt Martin. In between, you can enjoy the sun at the Moosbach box seat and stretch your feet into the water. Then you cross the Saalach and reach Strohwolln. Here you can park your bike and explore the Stohwollner Gorge.
Now you follow a bit of the Saalach. From a lookout point or from the Grubhofsteg you can watch the rapids of the river. Then you turn off and drive to the idyllic village of Au. You follow the last part on the Tauern Cycle Path of the Saalach and after a short time you have already arrived back in Lofer.
