You start this varied round at the Karls- und Bärenhöhle near Erpfingen. This impressive stalactite cave alone is worth the trip! After the visit, you roll down into the valley and then continue hilly through the lonely, quiet landscape.

After 13 kilometers you will reach the Lauchertsee. Embedded in beautiful nature, it invites you to linger. Since it is reserved for the animals and plants, you cannot bathe in it, but you can relax on its bank and strengthen yourself in the kiosk.

For the next few kilometers you follow the Lauchert through its idyllic valley to its source near Melchingen. Overcoming a few hills you will soon reach the starting point again, the Karls- und Bärenhöhle.

A beautiful tour that you can drive even if you are not very fit and that leads through a very beautiful landscape.

We have taken this tour R5 from the booklet "Middle Swabian Alb - The most beautiful bike tours". Source of supply: www.mythos-alb.de We changed the start and finish a bit and started in Burladingen-Melchingen. There is in the There is a large parking lot near the sports center and playground and the biggest slope for non-e-bikers is at the beginning of the tour.
