Panorama hike: 3 peaks and 2 lakes

As a passionate hiker, one peak is not enough for you! You will therefore conquer three on this almost eight-kilometer tour from the Schattberg. And you can choose to take a break on the way between two lakes. Which one is better suited to be tickled by the wonderful rays of the sun on the picturesque shore?

It starts at the mountain station of the Westgipfelbahn (saalbach.com/de/service/infrastructure/a3-a4-westgipfel-br-bahn_a_123803). Once you have reached the western summit of the Schattberg (summit number 1), you then march in the direction of the second summit: First you go downhill a bit, then along a path, always slightly uphill to the Stemmerkogel. One thing is still missing: You reach summit number 3, the Saalbachkogel, by first mastering a somewhat rocky descent, then walking straight ahead along Wegscheid.

Are you counting? Already clear - now you are finally looking for a beautiful lake. We can offer you two if you descend from the Saalbachkogel via the Seetörl. The Hacklberg lakes are as idyllic as they look in these pictures. And are perfect for a break in the midst of the lush green alpine splendor.

Via the Hacklberger Alm and a narrow, but all the more promising path, you finally get back to your starting point at the western summit of the Schattberg. From here you can comfortably float down into the valley by gondola.
