The last 400m are missing because the navigation battery died.
Today Spitzstein, Katzstein 🐈🪨 and Signal (that's what it's really called) were on my agenda. 👍 I took the S1 🚉 to Königstein and then the hiking bus 🚌 (a wonderful facility) to the start in Cunnersdorf. The paths were easy to walk on and the rocks 🧗🏻♂️ could be reached safely via ladders and stone steps! The view from the rocks 🪨 goes far into the country and I discovered a few more rock formations that I could hike 😅 It's important to know that the last bus back to Königstein leaves at 5:46 p.m.... you definitely shouldn't miss it!!! The photos aren't in the right order...for whatever reason 🤷🏻♀️.
Today's tour started in Cunnersdorf. From there we went to the Signal viewpoint. The stairs were a bit of a challenge for our dog. From there we went to the Katzfels and over the Neuteich to the Spitzstein.
Although a bit expensive very nice tour, highly recommended.
A lovely little hike on a sunny late summer day. The Katzsteinbaude deserves a recommendation, very friendly hosts, a good selection and tasty dishes and a fair price/performance ratio. I really enjoyed the break at the Schneeberg viewpoint. These wonderful views of the Schneeberg, the Kaiserkrone and the Zschirnsteine, the peace and the warm sun - simply wonderful.
Today a wonderful hike with colleagues to the above viewpoints followed by a stop at the Katzsteinbaude.... 🍻🥘🍳
Take an autumn day, 3 stones in Saxon Switzerland, dear hikers and a forest full of mushrooms. The result is a great day of hiking that calls for repetition. Thank you for this beautiful day 🥰.
