Tour 6 from the "Bicycle Tours Adventure Tours. Experience World Culture" brochure from the Albdonau District Tourist Office offers everything: from Laichingen, the tour goes through the Lauter Valley to Blaustein and then to Blaubeuren. The return journey leads gently up the Alb via the Tiefental valley.

The deep cave in Laichingen was worth visiting. Sometimes it goes down extremely steeply. Up to 55 meters deep. And then back up again on a different path. You have to breathe a bit ;-) Unfortunately, the photos didn't turn out so well because of the blinding lighting in the cave. Another piece of information: You could still cycle to the forecourt of the Blautopf today. The attraction is due to be renovated for 4 years :-(

Deployed as a tour guide, it went on a round trip on the Swabian Alb. From Herrlingen we went through the small Lauter valley and past the source of the small Lauter, steadily uphill in the most beautiful cycling weather and beautiful hotspots to Suppingen. Next we drove to the Sontheimer cave for our break at the local gastronomy. Unfortunately, the sun god left us there and we got caught in heavy rain, which only lasted 15 minutes. We bridged the time with a cup of coffee. We continued downhill, again in the best weather, to Blaubeuren to the Blautopf. Despite the large number of visitors, we were able to view the Blautopf with an ice cream before we drove the last few kilometers along the Blau to Herrlingen
