Cozy beginner's loop without major climbs: From Planet Planai, it goes via the Talbachklamm into the Untertal and continues via the Tälerstraße into the Obertal. On the asphalt road, you ride upstream into the valley until you reach the Nickel Museum, then continue on gravel to the Eschachalm – a perfect place to stop for refreshments.

The return journey goes as far as Pension Bärnhofer, then left across the Obertalbach and along the Ahornweg to the Obertalbahn. Continue towards Rohrmoos, past the Hochwurzen valley station and via the Hohenstraße and the Zainerweg into the Preuneggtal. After the Strickerbrücke, you reach the Pichl Badesee and the Enns cycle path, which you follow relaxed back to Schladming to the starting point.

Period: May 15 to October 1
Operating hours: 1 hour after sunrise to 1 hour before sunset
Ideal for: Beginners and pleasure cyclists with many refreshment stops along the route

Talbachklamm Gorge

Highlight (Segment) • Gorge

This tour is not for beginners. The ascent to the Ursprungsalm is long but manageable as this is a beautiful gravel path. Be careful with oncoming cars and buses.
From the Alm to the Giglachsee it is really tough but you will be rewarded with a great mountain panorama. I drove the tour with my son who had a normal fully.
Have fun on the tour

Enns Cycle Path (Ennsradweg)

Highlight • Cycleway

Relaxed cycle path along the Enns, with one or the other detour to the Dachstein (Dachstein Circuit) really worthwhile, making this highlight a lot more interesting.

So with the eBike it is an easy tour. Can also be done with a trekking bike

With a wonderful 🌞 we went with the bikes on the Rohrmoos circuit to the Eschachalm today. First we drove through the refreshing Talbachklamm and then further through the Obertal to the Alm. There was a Kaiserschmarren to strengthen. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to go up to the Duisitzkarsee with your bikes. We left that to the 🥾. We went back via the Nickel Museum, which used to be dismantled here. Then past the Hochwurzenbahn with a short detour into the Preuneggtal and past the Preuneggbahn. Finally, a relaxed downhill ride over a few switchbacks to the Enns Cycle Path and home.
