The almost seven-kilometer loop takes you around the picturesque district of Großwinternheim. The name of the trail says it all: From the vineyards on the plateau, you'll enjoy a magnificent view over the Rheingau and the Selz Valley. This makes for a truly enjoyable hike.
You'll begin by walking along the Selz River for a short distance before turning into the vineyards. A hike through the vineyards naturally also includes a hearty stop. Make yourself comfortable on the terrace of the Breidscheid Winery with a glass of wine in hand and enjoy the stunning view.
And because it's so beautiful, you can visit one of Großwinternheim's award-winning wineries after your hike. Prefer something sparkling? Then the local sparkling wine cellar is sure to suit your taste.
