A very nice holiday tour, wonderful cycling weather! Also a few small climbs included.
Beautiful bike tour around Mattsee, Grabensee and Obertrumer See!
We took a shortcut and rode on a narrow path through a small patch of forest (Gebertsham - Ramoser Straße). Recommended only with a mountain bike and some experience. Trail lovers will get their money's worth. The official route requires no special skills and is a very enjoyable ride.
The shores of the lakes are mostly private property, many are cottage villages. You can cycle through these, but it's probably no fun during the bathing season. In the low season, however, these sections are closer to the lake and clearly enhance the bike tour. Otherwise, the bike tour is varied. There are through-roads as well as an idyllic landscape protection area. Most of it is asphalt. Conclusion: nice tour for the low season
Start + finish: Mattsee parking lot north 47.97670 13.10524 29 km-0: 36 hours beautiful round trip in a wonderful landscape from km 29.2 to 31.8 no bike path-only narrow hiking path-but OK for driving
Today I went on the most beautiful bike ride of the year!! Everything was perfect, nice weather with a little wind, the area with the lakes is very beautiful and the bike paths/roads are in great condition. I can recommend it to anyone who is going on holiday in this very beautiful area! 👌😍🥰
This tour is mostly done by bike. In some places you have to push because driving is prohibited or it is too wet and too soft for it. Actually it doesn't matter, because this is all about rest, seeing, marveling, enjoying and relaxing in this lake paradise.
Nice round☀️😎☀️ The Trumersee is still a bit chilly 😂🥶
