This time we allowed ourselves the luxury of arriving the evening before and spending a night in the hotel. So I went to the slopes with two of my sons without any hassle. The conditions today were perfect: slightly cloudy and therefore pleasant to drive. However, the conclusion that there might be less going on because of this has not been confirmed. There was always the typical traffic jam at the top. But then it dispersed nicely downhill. A great day today. First. But now we are stuck in Brixen after a car breakdown. I'm starting to get sick of pizza🤣

This is the short route of the Maratona that everyone will be doing on Sunday for the Maratona does Dolomites. You can either finish in Corvara or continue on over the Campolongo for a second time and then on to the Giau and Falzarego (full Maratona - 138 km, 4,230m) or only the Falzarego for the Medio (106 km, 3,130m). ⛰️ Campolongo Pass (1,875 m - 5.8km, 6.1%) ⛰️ Passo Pordoi (2,239 m - 9.2 km, 6.9%) ⛰️ Sella Pass (2,240 m - 5.5 km, 7.9%) ⛰️ Sela de Culac (2,018 m) ⛰️ Gardena Pass (2,121 m - 5.8 km, 4.3%)

Sella Ronda Bikeday, a great event in the Dolomites, completely closed, only free for cyclists. A fantastic day in a fantastic setting💪🎉Cyclists from all countries unite😍👏☀️😎

I think every 7 years (Heinz, what does the chronicle say?) I need this - like going to the cinema with sweating.

Every year I have been cycling in the Dolomites for over 20 years now and it is always an experience. As always, I cycled clockwise. The roads are not in good condition!!! Watch out!!! Don't be surprised that the altitude is incorrect, it is 1700 meters above sea level........

The height profile is of course nonsense at the Pordoi. Put the Garmin on pause, probably wasn't such a good idea!

It was a wonderful up and down ride through the Dolomites, one of the most beautiful high mountains ever...🏔⛰️ I would also like to mention my fellow cyclists @JanaG., Authari, Achim, Kettentöter, Jürgen and Volker 😉👍 with whom it was a lot of fun.
