Campolongopass, Pordoi, Sella and Grödnerjoch are the names of the four famous passes that make the hearts of racing cyclists beat faster, not only because of their gradients. The Sellaronda is one of the most beautiful connected circular tours in the Dolomites. It doesn't matter whether you start in Selva di Val Gardena or in Corvara in Alta Badia. However, it is recommended to ride the Sellaronda in a clockwise direction.
The longest climb is the one on the Pordoi pass with an average gradient of eight percent over 33 hairpin bends, while the Sella pass has the steepest passages with eleven percent. As a racing cyclist, you can enjoy the Sellaronda completely car-free at the Sellaronda Bike Day, which takes place twice a year: https://www.bikehotels.it/de/magazin/events.html.
