As romantic as this natural spectacle may appear, its history is just as spectacular. The enormous rock lying here is made of dolomite, which, like all dolomite ranges in the Stubai Valley, dates back to the so-called Brenner Mesozoic period. It bears witness to massive rock movements that occurred here…

Today we took the Elferbahn cable car up high and hiked from the mountain station to the Pinnisalm. A magnificent panorama, untouched nature, and warm-hearted people awaited us.
The hiking trail starts from the top station of the Elferbahn cable car in a southeasterly direction. A beautiful trail (No. 136) leads you down narrow paths and through mountain pine fields into the idyllic Pinnistal Valley. The view of the Kalkkögel and the imposing north faces of the Elfer mountains is a constant companion. After about 45–60 minutes, you reach the Pinnisalm at 1,560 m – a charming alpine pasture with a cozy place to stop for refreshments. A break with regional delicacies is worthwhile here. After refreshment, continue down the valley until the trail turns west. The well-marked trail leads over the well-known Gespaltener Stein (Gaped Stone), a striking rock formation in the middle of the forest, split in two by a natural crack. From here, the contemplative path of reflection continues, winding through the forest with small spiritual inspirations, sculptures, and panels. The gentle path finally takes you back down into the valley to Neustift, directly to the valley station of the Elferbahn.
Very nice feasible tour to very well-located alpine huts. At the end of Neder it gets a bit very steep.
Unfortunately I forgot to finish the tour when I arrived at the apartment
A super nice tour, especially the reflection path. The actual route should follow the forest path, thank God we turned onto the path of reflection. Here the name is reflection program.
