There is also a lot to discover in the direction of Badalona. On this tour you will explore the Park de la Serralada Marina, which also offers endless possibilities for mountain bike tours and hikes. You'll also get your money's worth with a gravel bike, because some routes promise pure gravel happiness.

You start in Glòries and drive the Diagonal straight to the Riu Besòs. Here a cycle path always leads along the shore, which you now follow out of town. Finally, you have already left the city limits behind you and turn right into the Parc Serralada de Marina.

It goes uphill on fine dirt and gravel paths and you reach the monastery de San Jerónimo de la Murtra. After a little exploration tour, we continue on beautiful gravel tracks lined with Aleppo pines.

Behind the Hospital Universitari there is a very steep driveway - here you can push a bit. After that, it won't be long before you discover Barcelona and the sea on the horizon.

The next gravel kilometers fly by. Then you make your way down and rush across the road back to the coast. In Badalona you can have a little refreshment on the beach promenade before you drive back to Barcelona.
