Sachsenrieder Railway Line West Cycle Path

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

Not every green-marked cycle path is suitable for road cyclists. However, the well-known cycle path from Kaufbeuren east via Mauerstetten, Linden, and all the way to Helmishofen is one such path. Therefore, I wanted to highlight it again.

Trail Reviews

April 27, 2024, Kaltental - Füssen auf den Spuren der Dampflok

It is easy to park at the starting point to start this wonderful circuit from Aufkorch. The railway line is just fun, but otherwise the circuit is basically car-free. The surface is good throughout and there are several places to stop for refreshments and great views, no matter which section you are on.

Really nice round (if we had taken a picture of every great view, we would have had to stay the night), and for those who know it, we also saw a branch to Krottenhill 😁
