Again the Hiwweltour Bismarckturm.... OK, OK.... could get boring.... But it's not like that. The round is beautiful in every season and you have great views of the Rheinhessen area. Today the first half was just freaking warm... back in the woods and with the wind picking up, the second section was just great.

@Deleted User Yes. Everything was perfect that day. The weather was great and so far every Hiwell tour has been a highlight!!!!😍There are always places to stop for refreshments and the paths are laid out with so much attention to detail.

Super nice tour. Great natural paths and trails, lots of views and visibility, even in bad weather.

My very first Hiwweltour at a sunny 25 ° C and 600 ml of water as food for the march. You learn to ration there. Below the still closed Bismarck Tower, it went straight into the forest, and later there were always shady paths alternating with sunny ones, e.g. in the vineyards - this should not be underestimated. Along the entire route there were butterflies and flowers en masse in all colors, that was a real pleasure! Because of the many stony paths, I would recommend good shoes. In the meantime, the "mysterious Lemberg" on the Nahe remains my number 1 when it comes to "pre-planned" circular hiking trails.

Today Selina, Cera and I walked the Hiwweltour in Gau-Algesheim. It couldn't have been warmer. Fortunately, there were always shady sections where you could briefly recover from the heat. This tour is characterized by many foresights over the vineyards, the grapes shortly before the harvest are delicious 😍. That definitely makes a good wine. We were excited about the tiger enclosure at the Bismarck Tower, and were even more disappointed. Cramped into mini-enclosures, the tigers lay apathetic. You didn't really see anything either. The motivation for doing this tour shouldn't be these poor animals. Finally, at Brausers Bergschenke there was a hefeweizen and a delicious piece of cake. A nice end to the weekend 😁

With @Gabriele and the alpine-experienced @Iris, we were out again today on a Hiwwelt tour. Right at the start, we climbed the Bismarck Tower (111 steps, but no schnapps 😭). After that, we continued on beautiful paths through the forest, which was very pleasant, and sometimes along isolated vineyards, always accompanied by magnificent views. A highly recommended hike with a fitting conclusion.

Hiwweltour 👍highly recommended ... I can hardly get enough of the wine-growing areas ... and in between nature reserves ... enchanted forest ... and many places to linger ...

A beautiful Hiwwelt tour, the landscape alternates between forest passages and paths through vineyards. In my opinion, there are no signposts in two places, the bridge is broken, so we had to go back to the first crossing. A stop at Brauser's Bergschänke at the end of the tour is recommended if you are a little hungry or very thirsty. 🙂
