Once again, it was the way I like it best. Just download a tour and start walking. I didn't spend much time on it. Then you're not disappointed by your expectations, but rather happy about what you've seen. It was a really nice tour with lots of variety and easy to walk meadow and limestone paths. Top 👌💯🚶♂️
An absolutely recommendable premium path, very well signposted, a longer climb right at the beginning of the route, always wonderful views and far-reaching views, especially great with the wonderful weather, the tower at Reichenbacher Blick is ideal, then the ruins of the Michelskapelle, all around the most diverse wooden figures, again and again tables and benches, at some point then the beekeeper's house, with great wooden figures all around, also with a place to stop for refreshments, .... and then comes the swing .... so great and wonderful, let your soul dangle, then the bee nature trail, and that Teufels...before it goes back to Münnerstadt, where we come out at the old town tower....the photos show how wonderful the path is
So that was really a premium hike - and even almost on our doorstep here in the Rhön. The hiking trail starts in Münnerstadt at the train station and leads over beautiful forest paths with many great viewpoints up to the "Ruins of St. Michael's Church". On the way there are numerous "break opportunities" - always with a great view of the surroundings. At the "Bienenhaus" there is a beer garden and if it's not open, even a drinks cooler for a small amount of money. At the "Reichenbacher Ausblicksturm" there is also a drinks stand - but unfortunately the drinks crates were "empty" today - probably because yesterday was May 1st and many people were out and about here. For us, this was an absolute premium hike here in our local area... and we will certainly repeat this hike many more times. Beautiful round 😍 Worth repeating, but it's only 8.8 km. Recording with Komoot is never completely accurate, but that's what polar watches are for 😂
A wonderful extra hiking tour, which would deserve the title "most beautiful hiking trail 2023 in Germany. Walkable for every age group, varied route, through. Forest and also open space. Wonderful views of the Rhön, the Kreuzberg, Bad. Neustadt and the required foothills of the Rhön.
The Extratour Michelsberg is a beautiful 🥰, varied 👌 tour.
We parked at the Oberes Tor car park and off we went. After the rain, it was very windy early in the morning and the ground was still quite wet, and sometimes slippery. It is a very nice tour with climbs, wonderful forest paths, root paths, wonderful views and sights, we also saw rare fly agarics. Good shoes and fitness required. The tour is recommended.
