Surrounded by the vineyards of the Wartberg, you hike along the Wein-Panorama-Weg Heilbronn over five kilometers through a magical cultural and natural landscape. Due to the exposed location of the hiking trail on the slope of the Wartberg, you can enjoy the view of Heilbronn throughout the tour.
Let's start at the car park on Riedstraße, which you first leave in the direction of the vineyard. At the Heilbronner Wengerthäusle you take a first break and then continue to follow the path up. Parallel to the slope, continue to the left and after about three kilometers you will come across the highlight of the tour: the Wartberg Tower and the high-altitude restaurant located there.
You then hike in an arc via the Martin-Heinrich-Wengerthäusle back to the starting point.

Today was a great end to our weekend in Heilbronn.
Very nice hike through the vineyards in wonderful weather
Wonderful tour along the wine panorama trail above Heilbronn to the Wartberg tower with its mountain restaurant and then on to the Lempp-Ruhe, a beautifully situated vantage point. The descent via hiking trail 1 is not recommended as it is overgrown. Our alternative, simply down to the road, was even worse.
