Baiersbronner T8 steep Tour

Steep slopes are your thing - both uphill and downhill? In addition to steep slopes, this round also promises magnificent views. It is demanding and demanding for body and concentration with many meters of altitude and trails. The round starts in Baiersbronn and runs over the northern and southern slopes of the Murg Valley.

The introductory ascent takes you past the Satteleihütte up to the ridge. There you can take a quick stroll on level paths before the first rapid descent awaits. Then it goes up to the Guldenberg and down the slope crossing on a trail. After the next ascent, the Tannenfels Trail will challenge your skills: A very tight switchback and a blocked bottleneck await you.

Then you crank back up onto the ridge and can already look forward to the fun Hirschlach Trail. At the bottom you cross the valley and continue on the other side. When the water level is low and the temperatures are right, you can also cross the Murg through the ford and let the water splash properly.

The next ascent is followed by a flowing descent down to Buhlbach. Again you crank up on the other side of the valley up to the ridge. The trail to the Walterhütte awaits you there, on which technically demanding and flowy passages alternate. Then you roll briefly through the valley. At Mitteltal, the route is first leisurely and then steeper uphill again. Once at the top, you get on the Hölltrail directly and then cross the slopes until you roll back down to Baiersbronn.
