After the wind whistled around our ears at the beginning 🌬️, the sun gained more and more strength over the course of the day - spring is already making its presence felt. A beautiful circuit, lots of beautiful little paths. We only know the Satteleisteig in winter, the shady paths would also be good for the summer. The food in the Sattelei is really very good but there are other cheap options...🥴
On the road with FriendsNdates on the 3rd Advent weekend. The starting point was a hotel in Freudenstadt.
Hello 🙋 today I walked another leisurely trail in Baiersbronn 😎 I started the tour at 9:15 a.m. at the train station 🚉 Baiersbronn School 🏫 the temperature is still pleasant 😊 it's about to go up 😉 then a great path follows with views of Klosterreichenbach and Tonbach 👀 I reach the Petermännle rock 🪨 where there is a great rest area ☺️ now I walk on wonderful paths, surrounded by tall ferns and heather and reach the Sattelei hiking hut, where I sipped a Radler 🍺 😂 now up to the Rinkenturm and the path down to the bus stop 😎 There aren't many views 👀 but I'm excited by the many paths. It was pleasant walking in the forest 🌳, I didn't need the magic scarf 👍 I will definitely do this tour again 😁 I'm on my way home now 😊 Have a lovely afternoon and best wishes 🙋 also from Öpchen 🙋♂️
After I had now covered almost all of the Baiersbronn sky paths with Lori (there are only two left, which cannot be fully used again until May 15th because of the capercaillie), today it was the turn of the Baiersbronn Satteleisteig. A premium path awarded the "Genießerpfad" seal by the German Hiking Institute, which practically leads all the way around the Rinkenkopf. On the way I realized that I already knew about 70% of the route. The first almost 3km on the 10.5km long circular path are identical to the end of the 4th Murgleiter stage and the last 4.4km run exactly at the beginning of the 5th stage. Although we had already walked both Murgleiter stages during the peak of Corona (August 2020), it was again a pleasure to hike this part of the route again, but this time in spring instead of midsummer. The proportion of paths is pleasingly high, but without being particularly difficult. On the first part of the actual circular route, you constantly move along the edge of the forest and have a wonderful view over the Tonbach valley. The subsequent route through the middle of the forest hardly offers any views, but it also has its own special charm. The Sattelei hiking hut and the Rinken tower are two more beautiful highlights shortly before the end of the entire circular route.
A great round on great little paths, mostly away from the forest highways, the route runs and there are always great views of Baiersbronn. In between, a little refreshment at the Satteleihütte and then to the Rinkenturm, once again enjoy the beautiful view of Baiersbronn before returning to the starting point.
A very pleasant hike, varied paths through the forest. The paths were mostly easy to walk. Particularly beautiful were the numerous viewpoints, from which one had a magnificent view into the valley. These views repeatedly invited a short rest to enjoy nature. All in all, a recommendable tour for nature lovers. I can warmly recommend this route.
In the first third there is a beautiful view of the valley with lots of benches to sit on. The second half lacks some of the highlights. The Satteleihütte is undoubtedly a good place to stop for a break. We recommend the flammkuchen and the Fleischküchle (large portion).
Started early and walked a really nice round, 90% of the saddle slope consists of paths, there weren't that many views, but the Rinkenturm with a wonderful view of Baiersbronn.
