Loop Bois des Aunes – Vincon – hiking on the art trails

Ciney is known nationwide for its excellent beer. But the picturesque town also has a lot to offer artistically. On this city walk, you will set out to uncover the secrets of Ciney. It starts at the central Place Monseu. There are parking spaces and a bus stop here. The local train station is also not far away. So you have various options for reaching the starting point. The tour runs entirely within the urban area of Cimey, but you may be surprised at how green it is here.

After just one kilometer, you turn onto the RAVeL cycle path, which runs idyllically on the outskirts of Ciney between meadows and forests. In the east of Ciney, a short detour takes you to the beautifully situated Moulin de Biron. But it's not just the mill itself that's worth seeing: one of the many art installations of the Sentiers d'Art is located here. An unusual sculpture was made of wood. In the Parc Saint-Roch you finally pass the imposing building of the Conservatoire Édouard Bastin de Ciney towards the end of the hike. Music, dance and theater are taught here.
