This route was planned by komoot.
Wanderfreund Reichenburg planned the tour on komoot. It begins at the Klotzsche train station and leads across the Silbersee and the Hofewiese into the Priessnitz valley. The Steingrtchenweg between the Hofewiese estate and the Priessnitzgrund is a slippery affair in frost and ice. From there a detour to Luden's Ruh and over the Priessnitz waterfall back to Klotzsche.
In search of spring. A walk through the heath. Finally at the Silbersee (Silver Lake), then on to the Hofewiese meadow... they're already cleaning and preparing there... season starts on March 28th 👍👋🧁. Then on along a cool trail into the Priesnitz valley. I'm really looking forward to that on my bike 🚴♀️. One last detour to the waterfall... and that's it ✔️ Just as it started to rain 🌧️🌧️🌧️, I got in my bike 🚘.
There is no such thing as bad weather... today we went on a tour through the heath, away from the Priessnitzstrasse over muddy paths to the Hofewiese, the cat has already cleaned itself for the guests and the many cute teddy bears make children's eyes shine. Then we went along a trail that we rode on our bikes in the summer... exciting. 🧐 Finally, a detour to the spectacular Priessnitzfall. Beautiful tour and there is no such thing as bad weather.

Start and finish at Dresden Klotzsche train station, in addition to the train connection there is also a free P+R car park. The first part of the round is so-so, straight paths, pine forest, many paths also spoiled by logging, but after the Hofewiese it gets much better. Hofewiesegut: large beer garden/snack designed for many people, then the path is much nicer, always along the stream. Many variations are possible, rounds can be reduced or enlarged as desired. Basically, rating: you can do it.
The Dresden Heath, the Hofewiese, the Eichberg, the Prignitztal with waterfall and the Silbersee are all places and sights in and around Dresden. The Dresden Heath is a large forest area northwest of Dresden and extends over around 5,000 hectares. It is a popular local recreation area. The Hofewiese is a popular park in the Dresden Heath and a popular excursion destination, as is the Silbersee.
A spontaneous call lured us to a nice walk in the Dresden Heath. I don't think we've ever been out here with so much snow. We had to take advantage of it! We weren't alone in this idea. The paths around the Hofewiese were well-used. In the end, Komoot stole another kilometer from me because the app paused on its own again. Of course, we didn't float from Nesselgrund to the Biobahnhof. I think I'll switch back to the watch for easy tracking.
