For some time I had been curious to see the famous Belvedere located in the Valentino park at Piani dei Resinelli. Since this is a very simple and quick excursion, I thought about dedicating half a day to it, one of those that if you go to the high mountains you wash yourself, while if you stay near the lake you catch a glimpse of the sun. This in theory, because in practice seeing the sun from afar illuminating the Resegone, while I was immersed in a storm, made me understand how cruel and evil the mountain can be in ruining all your plans. The usual irony aside, this excursion is definitely worth doing because the Belvedere experience is worth trying. The thousand meter jump under your feet does not leave indifferent even many people who do not suffer from vertigo. I think the view is worth it, even though I saw very little. In the tour I wanted to include the summit of Magnodeno, which is about 20/30 minutes away, but even in this case I had to stop just below, as the rain was accompanied by the storm and the visibility was just beyond the nose. However, I conclude by confirming that the excursion is absolutely worth it and is for all legs. For experts who love walking, they can reach the Piani dei Resinelli from Laorca via the steep Val Calolden. For thrill seekers there are also a couple of EE trails.
Just under 2 hours at a leisurely pace. Easy but pleasant excursion

Day with low clouds so the balcony did not meet our expectations but a pretty easy walk. We will return with the sun
Everything started well with magnificent views from Monte Contiglione, then the clouds arrived, very quickly, all around me, I started to hear thunder, and upon reaching the platform, lightning in front of me then the sound of thunder immediately. Scary. I put on my goretex because it started to hail, then I rejoined the car as quickly as possible through the woods (forgetting to restart my watch, hence the bizarre track). The return was psychedelic: tornadoes of wind, heavy hail, and again twice, lightning then immediately the sound of thunder. I was in the heart of the storm and it was really scary, the hail covered the ground with a good centimeter, everything was white. I will remember this hike for a long time!
