This beautiful hike is perfect for beginners and families. It starts in the center of Leogang and offers stunning mountain panoramas along the entire route. The hike culminates in a delightful stop at an alpine pasture.
On gently ascending paths, you'll hike through open meadows and short stretches of forest up to the Sinnlehenalm. The views of the surrounding mountains will captivate you throughout the entire hike. Once you arrive at the idyllic alpine pasture, find a spot on the lovely terrace and let the hosts treat you to a hearty alpine snack. Freshly baked bread, butter, bacon, and homemade cheese will be served – delicious! While you enjoy your visit to the alpine pasture, the kids can play on the large, attractive playground or make friends with the farm animals.
Don't forget to check the opening times of the alpine pastures before your hike. Many pastures have shorter opening hours in autumn, and some close completely from mid-October.
