June 15, 2025, Il tour dei laghi di Foppolo

June 25. Hot day but at 2400 meters the breeze helps you. Starting from a parking lot in Foppolo and immediately a challenging climb along the ski lifts under a scorching sun. Once you reach Monteo you tackle another loop with a view of the lakes. A slightly challenging point for the rest only physical effort. The mountain landscapes are beautiful. 8

Departure from Foppolo Climb Corno Stella 🌟 return to the trout lake and return to Foppolo beautiful day

Translated by Google

The path starts from Foppolo going up a dirt road. The first part is quite depressing, as it crosses the havoc created by the Foppolo ski slopes (you can avoid it by taking the chairlift). From the Salomon hut the story changes and everything is much more pleasant. The last part of the climb to Corno Stella, rather steep especially in the first part after Lake Moro, has some slightly exposed sections but nothing risky if you are used to mountain excursions. The view from the summit is spectacular.
