The route is circular, but the lunch stop, you know... hehehehe Today we're going for the Enduroland classic, Route 9, but this time, following Vicent's advice, we're going to make a small change. We leave Monzona by path, up and down, narrow, half slope but with good box, halfway along the path by a short but powerful junction, we come out to the Almorocho track, to gain height for about 6.5 km and go for the "La Punxa-Sabinar" very flow and fast path that leaves us in a small section of asphalt, shortly to the right continues path, this time "El Cantón" with some technical and hard but short climb, so we reach the natural balcony and viewpoint above the swamp, photo of rigos, enjoy the landscape, and instead of following the route that would go down along the edge of the wall, we go back and take the "Verd3" detour, a spicy flow path of 2km of enjoyment, very beautiful, way to antiguao like all those in the area. At the intersection with "Molares-Sancho", we turn right and continue down this somewhat more challenging route, with curves and steps, but very rideable. So far, all are classified as Blue, some a little more Reddish than others, but very rideable. The end of this route is steeper and more technical, without reaching Red. This continues for almost 6 km of uninterrupted trail, quite amazing. A section of track leads us above the dam, then we cross over to the road and cycle along it for a short distance, until we reach a detour uphill along the clay track, a steep slope that was used to bring down clay from the upper mine for the construction of the dam. We reach the Calpes road. After a short detour to the left, we continue along the track, gaining altitude and joining the Barracas road. Here we decided to go down the road to the track leading to the Viso Canton repeater and machine gun nests. At this point, you can take a section of trail, which starts right in front of where we exited the road. It goes uphill and then down the track to the same place. We reached the repeater, with views from the other side of the reservoir, and a descent path, first along the edge of the wall and then down the steep slope. "El Viso" is a red road with a very tricky passage, a curve with a step, pivoting, and a very steep drop. The rest consists of steps, rocks, and curves. We crossed the Jara ravine, which became more rideable, but be careful with the boulders and narrow passages, a marl that you must cross diagonally, and then we reached Puebla. Be careful, you can reach it by stairs that end at the road, or you can avoid them on the right. And here we finished the route, with a beer and delicious food at La Puebla bar. I highly recommend it. Route from Los Cantos to the Loreto Hermitage, passing through: - Arenoso Reservoir (17.9 km) - Alamico Fountain (28.5 km)
