Lago Ponton e Rifugio Sogno di Berdzè

After a quick brake tune-up by the very kind Mr. Davide of Rental Point in Cogne, who fixed the problem for us without charging us anything, and a breakfast with excellent 🍰 and cappuccino ☕️ at Caffè libreria Montagne di carta, we decide to retrace yesterday's beautiful stretch, even if with a more than fresh wind against us, this time however in the direction of Lago Ponton at 2644 m. altitude. Once we arrived at the lake we did not let ourselves be intimidated by the wind and a few drops of rain; we stopped for more than an hour to have a snack in front of the lake, to take photos, but above all to enjoy the wonderful and silent landscape before the final return. Type of route: dirt farm road (initial stretch on asphalt) Technical difficulty: mediumPhysical difficulty: medium Trail signs: N 10 and 10 D/10E Before the town of Lillaz, (at the camper area) take the asphalt farm road on the left that goes up the Urtier valley. Follow the signs for the Sogno di Berdzé al Peradzà refuge. Once you have passed the town of Les Goilles Dessus and the little church of Crêt (Chapel of the Alpine troops), continue along the farm road after the Tsavanis alp: cross the small bridge on the left and continue on the farm road until you reach Lake Ponton; descent on the same route. For the more experienced: possible (technical) climb from the Sogno di Berdzé refuge up to the Fenêtre di Champorcher pass and descent towards Lake Miserin, the Miserin and Dondena refuges and the town of Champorcher.
