Teleccio Dam and Lake

Highlight • Lake

For engineering lovers, the Teleccio (or Telessio) dam is an interesting arch-gravity dam, built in the 1950s by AEM and now owned by IREN. For all the others, a wonderful artificial lake, with a light blue color that seems fake, the starting point for several excursions, one more beautiful than the other. The road to get there is largely private, owned by IREN, but hiking traffic is allowed.

A nice round trip around the artificial lake of Teleccio.
I recommend going around clockwise. Once you get to the refuge, you will find it less difficult to descend.
Of course, the difference in height is not much but it should be done by those with a minimum of training.
Very beautiful panoramic points on the lake.
I went around …
