Absolutely incredible route along a narrow boardwalk that trails along the river. Turquoise waters with little fish, pretty forest sections, incredible rock formations, waterfalls - this hike has it all. The route is very well maintained by the Ayuntamiento and is suitable for young and old alike. Remember that it is necessary to buy tickets online for the route IN ADVANCE by going to www.beceite.es
This hike had been on my list for a long time. The first time we were here we couldn't do it because it was raining and we hadn't bought tickets in advance. But this time it worked and now the option of a circular route has even been added. The Senda Mina and Senda Salobre hiking trails can be incorporated into the traditional route of the Pasarelas del Parizal de Beceite as desired. I did both on the way there. Firstly, you've got the elevation gain behind you and secondly, the light was better. But of course that always depends on the time of year. Unfortunately there wasn't much water in the Río Matarraña. There was at least some in the front part of the Pasarelas, but everything was dry at the back in the Estrecho. To find water there, you probably have to do this hike in spring after the snow has melted and the rain has fallen. But even without water it was impressive.
