It can be done faster. We stop a lot. Be careful with the heat... the sun hits a lot on almost the entire route

The first part goes down a wide gravel path, along large picnic areas, little shade. The second part first runs along the forest, (mosquitoes). Then in a nice path, steeply up. Very nice part over the bridge and along the water

After many tours in the cities, finally a tour in the country again! According to this video, the originally planned tour was too delicate for us! 😩 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLWVWFc5uCs

This route is in a well signposted area. I have made a moderate journey wanting to focus on visiting those footbridges along the Velillos River. I have not even gone up to the castle of Moclín. I prefer to save strength. I do not recommend going to this area alone. I have been very cautious going through these wooden platforms, although I found them to be in good condition. There is a bridge that scares a bit. It is supported by steel cables and swings quite a bit as we walk. It is better to pass it one person at a time, walking through the center and supporting the poles on the sides. Excellent views of the mountains, very vertical, where I have seen birds of prey. Varied landscape, with areas of forest and bare rock. Following the marked route there is a picnic area.

I can highly recommend this hike! Especially now, at this time of year, there are hardly any people you meet and the landscape is beautiful.

This tour is definitely one of the most beautiful in this area. And it is easy to do, even with children and dogs. You don't have to be afraid of heights, but you have to be able to endure wooden walkways (pasarelas) attached to the mountain that seem to float above the water, which is not for everyone. The rod is probably perfect in spring and autumn. In summer it is probably just too hot, there are long stretches without shade. In winter you can do the tour without any problems, only then there is hardly any sun in the gorge and it can be quite cool and gloomy, at least compared to the rest of the tour.

A beautiful route. Unfortunately, the technology failed at some point. As a result, about 1 km is missing in length. The paths are all easy to walk, but it's actually impossible to get lost 😃. You should have a bit of stamina. The route is certainly very beautiful in both directions, so always look behind you along the way. 😉
