This route was planned by komoot.
Today the mountain showed us its less friendly side and 80 kilometre per hour winds made our morning difficult. When we got off the shuttle bus we realised that the summit of Mulhacén, our objective for the day, was going to be very unpleasant and dangerous, so we finally went back up to Pico Veleta, which last week was a walk and this time it was difficult to reach. Then we continued on the other side of the mountain with less wind to the Caldera refuge, thus completing a long walk above 3000 metres to train for an upcoming project.
