This route was planned by komoot.
After yesterday's chilly day, today should have been to Piombino to bike right by the sea. However, Madame and I probably caught something wrong to eat yesterday: Madame threw up and s***ed through the whole night. The poor thing was completely gone. Of course my night's sleep was not good either and I had a really queasy stomach from whatever. So it was clear that Alexa cannot drive today. I decided to give it a try and climbed the long, flat "easy uphill" of Monte Arsenti in the hope that the nausea would "pedal away". It wasn't like that -.- When I got to the top I froze like a fox, I was shaky and just in the bucket... So I decided to take the blue "Jail Trail" back to Massa Vecchia to have ridden at least one trail: A really one nice, flowing trail with a few built jumps, which is suitable for beginners as well as fun for advanced hikers who can run properly here. Back at the accommodation, however, I was really done with the world and packed myself into Madame's sickbed, where we have been dozing, suffering and recovering since then XD Hopefully we will get fit again quickly!
