Beautiful hike on the peninsula. Up and down and up and down... Peace, great views, beautiful beaches, the smell of warm pine forests and the quiet sea! Back to Toulon by boat.
Level: Intermediate Marking: Yellow Departure from the Saint Mandrier tourist information office. Get there by bus with the Mistral Network: Route 28M (water bus from Toulon), Route 18 / Route 28 The Saint-Mandrier coastal path connects the village to Saint-Asile beach in Pin-Rolland. From the wild beaches of La Coudoulière and Cavalas, towards Pointe de Marégau, characterized by its ochre sandstone cliffs and belvederes, the hike alternates between terraced sections, shaded by majestic pines, and privileged views of the Deux Frères rocks and Cap Sicié. Along the way, defensive buildings such as the Gros Bau fort and the Coudoulière fort attest to Saint-Mandrier's strategic position at the entrance to Toulon harbor.
