This route was planned by komoot.
At the beginning there is a steep ascent to the Col de petite Cayolle, then mostly moderate ups and downs on some narrow paths. Fantastic views of Mont Pelat, the Var Valley and Lac Allos (possible with a small detour). Past several small mountain lakes. We have never seen so many wild animals: chamois, ibex, marmots, an ermine, common crabs, all up close.
An extraordinary route with views of lakes and rocks of all beauty. The Allos lake has regained its previous water level. 👍
