A confession: We love botanical gardens. There are several in Malaga. The Jardín Botánico - Histórico La Concepción is certainly the most beautiful. Hence the many pictures. Who cares: Around 1850, the wealthy Loring family decided to build a country estate. A large park was created - the existing park is now 170 years old. The manor house was built by a German architect (you can forget). In 1990 the city bought the site and expanded the park. We notice that the city is investing heavily in culture and tourism. Every single park passes as a botanical garden. There are dozens of museums, including important branches of the Center Pompidou, Museo Carmen Thyssen, Museo Picasso and many more. Legacies of Phoenicians, Romans, Arabs, Catalan queens. Endless houses of worship. Everything is noticeably well maintained and clean. We still have a lot to do!
