Facile passeggiata in territorio francese, appena al di là del passo del Piccolo San Bernardo.
Si parte dal piazzale dietro al vecchio ospizio del colle del Piccolo San Bernardo (ora riaperto). Il sentiero è ben tracciato e la salita al lago è un po’ ripida ma fattibilissima (l’abbiamo fatta immersi nelle nuvole). Arrivati al lago, una volta diradate le nuvole, si ha una bella vista delle montagne circostanti. Per la discesa abbiamo utilizzato la mulattiera. La salita dalla mulattiera è più agevole.
