salvo poche e brevi eccezioni soprattutto tra Castellanza e Busto, il percorso è protetto e molto interessante... una bella sorpresa è stato il percorso storico dei ceppi di confine a Stabio che ho eseguito solo in parte... per raggiungere Stabio ho utilizzato il treno TiLo da Busto Arsizio, molto comodo, soprattutto per il trasporto della bicicletta, gratuito su Trenord, anche nella parte svizzera
