This path used to go along the valley all the way to Venosc but the upper section was washed away in a mudslide in 2024, so now it's an out and back, but still worth it. The path ends very abruptly where the tarmac stops and the river whooshes by. Take the little detour off the path to visit the beautiful Lac de Buclet - the reflections of the mountains in the water are picture postcard pretty.
