A flamboyant Gothic church, Notre-Dame du Folgoët is a major building of 15th century Breton architecture whose fame extends well beyond Léon. This monument, witness to the history of an entire country and its inhabitants, has seen great names pass through its walls (Anne of Brittany, François 1st, etc.). A spiritual center, particularly at the time of his famous pardon, this basilica also has undeniable architectural, cultural and even political and economic importance. Its popularity also owes a lot to the many mysteries that surround it and which make this religious building a unifying heritage of the Coast of Legends.

The Saint-Fiacre chapel is located in Pont-du-Châtel (municipality of Plouider) in Brittany. Built in the 16th century, it has the particularity of presenting a bell tower in the so-called Beaumanoir style, which houses a bell dating back to 1647. Dedicated to St Fiacre, the patron saint of gardeners, it is best known for its "leper window" which allowed "kakous" from the neighboring hamlet, cooperage, rope makers and lepers to attend church services without rubbing shoulders with the other faithful . Note the stoup and the 15th-century Calvary outside. Source: https://religiana.com/fr/chapel-saint-fiacre-plouider

The church is an attraction for tourists while staying in the region. The miracle of miracles is of course the venerable statue of Our Lady of THE FOLGOET stone from Kersanton, who receives dozens and hundreds of people every day, depending on the season, to entrust their sorrows and joys to this maiden with the sweet face.
