Bridge over the gorge

beautiful route, unspectacular but quiet and relaxed to drive

We enjoy driving along the Greenway – the bridge, restored but not offering a great view, spans the wooded valley. More interesting, however, are the remains of the railway line at the end of the Greenway.

Port of Pouldouran, located at the end of the Bizien estuary which rises on the Jaudy.

This stretch along the stream is actually a wide hiking trail that we found to be very muddy. Soon after descending into the valley, by the water basins, there is a sign saying "End of the cycle path" which is appropriate for the type of path, but a bit odd for a defined EV4. Luckily, we made it through with full luggage without falling or touching the ground. The route is scenically attractive. A detour would only be possible over a large area.
