The path of the vats is a very easy hike, the Furon at one point plunges under the rock. Spectacular

This is generally the starting point for the Sassenage vats walk

Nice loop but much too technical in its last part (very difficult portions even when pushing/holding the bike especially on an electric mountain bike) which really spoiled the fun for me. I do not recommend this last part which goes around the Mollard Cargot. From my point of view, portions for hiking. I would try to take the Goya path next time to join descents which are certainly much more pleasant.
