It is a superb meeting point between hikers, alone or with family, and mountaineers who leave for the Ailefroides. Just before arriving at Lake Eychauda, you pass by this promontory which offers a magnificent view of the valley. You can see the path of the path which leaves from the Chambran car park as well as the eponymous plateau in the background. Remember to turn around before heading towards the lake.
