Near a small waterfall on the Fluvià river in Sant Joan les Fonts, a panoramic point allows you to observe something truly unique: the three so-called Molì, Fondo and Boscarrò lava flows one on top of the other. They appeared in the sunlight thanks to the erosion carried out over the centuries by the waters of the Rio Fluvià, whose course favored the settlement and birth of various villages in these areas.

This bridge is one of the many sites to see around Sant Joan de les Fonts. There is the church next to the bridge, behind the church there is a waterfall, farther down the trail there is another small church and a bit farther down there is an abandoned textile factory.

The lovely little church is really isolated. The only way to get here that I know of is on foot, by bike, or perhaps on horseback. In fact, it is in quite good shape and an interesting place to visit.

This is a wonderful place for a hike. The 360º views are spectacular. It is possible to go up some back roads here with a mountain bike. The singletrack roads that go here are pretty tough or near impossible on a bike, but still a great adventure to try.

The church and the bridge in this place are really nice. There is a nice bike path that takes you from La Canya to the center of Sant Joan les Fonts. Cross the bridge and you find the three or four streets of Sant Joan les Fonts and not much else. It really is a lovely spot and well worth a stop when mountain biking, road biking or looking for a new gravel route.
