A visit to the Can Valls oak, located at the top of a promontory within the Montseny natural park, offers a triple reward: to begin with, enjoy a pleasant walk following the so-called Camino de Vallcàrquera and then passing through the cross of Can Plans, always in a well-preserved forest environment; secondly, the privileged view of the Vallès plain and the Cingles de Bertí from a viewpoint at 780 meters above sea level; finally, an unusual tree due to its size (5.40 meters of trunk perimeter, the largest oak in Montseny), its advanced age (possibly 300 years) and its rounded silhouette, with ideal shade for shelter. https://www.google.com/search?q=alzina+de+can+valls&oq=alzina+de+can+valls&aqs=chrome..69i57j0i22i30.8989j0j15&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#fpstate=ive&ip=1&vld=cid :90053fe5,vid:MyzQQ7jeqYI,st:0

La Roca Centella is a 1,001 meter mountain located in the Montseny Natural Park, between the municipalities of Cànoves i Samalús, Figaró and Tagamanent, in the Vallès Oriental region. It is one of the highest mountains in the area of La Garriga. There is a legend based on the treasures hidden in natural spaces that mentions the Centella Rock or Centelles Rock: The belief says that on the Tagamanent road there is a rock called Centella, which when midnight arrives opens and leaves the passage free for the person who feels brave enough to ignore a snake that opens its mouth an inch and lets out chilling roars. Inside the Twinkle Rock there is an incalculable treasure that can be easily taken, but only during the brief time in which the twelve strokes of midnight sound, after which the rock closes again until next year at the same time, leaving the imprisoned person if he does not come out on time.

A spectacular place, specifically the oak, which is located three bends above the house, and which enjoys incredible views of the gorge and La Garriga, with the whole plain of Vallès and Collserola in the background. A 40' climb by bike, and if we continue, we can go down through Vallcàrquera, which is really worth it. From La Garriga you can drive to Sant Cristòfol de Monteugues, 1km from the oak tree. And by figaró from Vallcàrquera, on a track in not too good condition. The sunsets are worth it, as it sets right behind the Cingles de Bertí, which are right in front.
