You leave the Via Comunale Valle di Contessa at a certain point continuing straight along an increasingly bumpy trail, which ends in a path blocked by a very high and impassable bush. To reach the Ciclovia dei Laghi I had to go downhill passing through the fields and pushing the bike by hand to overcome a fairly demanding difference in height (the panoramic photo is taken from the highest point). If you want to take this road, follow it and avoid leaving it for the innermost stretch.

Nice intermediate difficulty route. I modified an existing route on komoot but it had errors in areas that were no longer practicable. Attention: you must enter a military area where they indicate no entry. Furthermore, in my opinion they illegally fenced off a piece but I went through anyway, climbing over a small gate. It's worth it as you arrive in an area full of huge and beautiful thistles until you reach the very suggestive Lake Martignano. recommended route

Here a path developed on dead trees was created, called "DEUS SIVE NATURA", with the aim of raising awareness of environmental protection. The artist who created it is called ANGEL.
