Nice sheltered picnic area on both sides of the building with power I have seen people charging their ebikes while taking a break.

It would be nice if there was a way to get over to the benches on the shore of the lake from the bike path.

Tonight I went north out of the park and the trails were pretty rooty and pitted, pretty rough. It is still a beautiful park and runs right along the river.

Nice to look at the ski hill in the summer, it's so quiet when it's not ski season. Although it used to be loud when they were running the lifts for mountain biking.

They cleared out a ton of trees along the shoreline by the main parking area that is right off the highway. Not sure why, but it does make the views of the lake nice!

A fishing dock with no one on it tonight. One person parked in the lot when I got there, but they headed out.

We hoped that we could find a public park in Madison Lake with a shaded picnic table but the only public park we could find in Madison Lake was a small children's playground with two benches and no shade. So we settled for the Anchor Bar and Grill, located right on the Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail, which for the price of a beer, provided shaded seating.
